Netanyahu's Determination: Israel-Hamas War Will Not Be Deterred

Israel's defense minister, Yoav Gallant, stated that it would take several months to defeat Hamas in Gaza, as the group has built infrastructure both underground and above ground. US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan is visiting Israel to discuss the next phase of the war, while Bavarian State Premier Markus Söder expressed solidarity with Israel and supported its actions against Hamas. A Palestinian poll showed rising support for Hamas, particularly in the West Bank, and dissatisfaction with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas. Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, vowed to continue the military campaign against Hamas despite international pressure.
