Ukraine's Victorious Defense: Repelling Russian Onslaughts and Inflicting Heavy Losses

Ukrainian forces have broken through enemy lines in Russia-controlled territory in the south, while successfully holding off Russian assaults in the eastern town of Avdiivka. The Ukrainian military intensified its attacks across the Dnipro River near Kherson, leading to significant losses for the Russian forces. Ukraine received support from the United States in the form of long-range Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS), which will allow Ukrainian troops to target previously unreachable supply lines and infrastructure used by Russia in occupied territories. The U.S. has also diverted 155 mm artillery shells from Ukraine to Israel to aid in its conflict with Hamas.
