Russian hackers continue to target Ukraine with new malware and cyberattacks.

Russian hackers, believed to be backed by the Federal Security Service, have been using USB-based malware to steal sensitive data from Ukrainian targets for use in Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. The group, known as Shuckworm, has been active since 2014 and focuses solely on obtaining intelligence on Ukrainian targets. Shuckworm has recently deployed new malware and command-and-control infrastructure that has successfully penetrated the defenses of multiple Ukrainian organizations in the military, security services, and government of that country. The group is most interested in obtaining information related to sensitive military information that could be abused in Russia's ongoing invasion.
