Russian Military Intelligence Linked to Cyberattacks in Ukraine, Microsoft Reports

Microsoft has traced a wave of cyberattacks targeting Ukrainian government agencies and IT vendors to hackers associated with Russia's military intelligence service, the GRU. The group, dubbed "Cadet Blizzard," has been active since 2020 and is also targeting NATO members funneling military aid into Eastern Europe. Microsoft has urged the security ecosystem and customers to raise visibility and protections against their attacks.
