EU summons top minds to accelerate European defense amid Russia challenge

The EU will form a high-level group of political and military leaders from member states, the UK and Ukraine to brainstorm faster, more effective defense capabilities, leveraging Ukraine’s frontline experience. The group will produce a concrete recommendations report for Europe’s defense, to be launched at an EEAS conference on Sept. 7 with names and details to follow.
