Finland to Build Drones for Ukraine and Europe Under Expanded Defense Pact
TL;DR
Ukrainian and Finnish defense firms sign agreements to design and manufacture drones in Finland for Ukraine and European markets, covering uncrewed aerial vehicles, maritime unmanned systems, and a joint venture to produce ground robotic complexes; the move expands Kyiv’s broader Drone Deal framework with allies (following pacts with Estonia and the Netherlands) to relocate production to allied nations and strengthen defense manufacturing.
