"Russia's Unconventional Tactics to Counter Ukraine's Naval Drones"
TL;DR
Russia is sinking old ships to create a protective barrier for the Kerch Bridge to Crimea in order to defend against Ukraine's naval drones. However, experts believe that this barrier may not be effective against smaller drone boats. Ukraine's fleet of waterborne drones has been targeting Russian assets in the Black Sea, causing damage to ships and supply lines. The sinking of ships is seen as a response to these attacks, but it may not be a sufficient solution to protect the bridge.
