Black Sea dolphin deaths linked to Ukraine-Russia conflict.

More than 100 dolphins, mostly Black Sea bottlenose dolphins, are feared dead due to military sonar in the Black Sea, according to Ivan Rusev, Head of the Research Department of the Tuzly Estuaries National Park in Ukraine. The deaths are believed to be caused by Russian naval activity due to the war in Ukraine. The death toll is much higher, with scientists believing the number surpasses 1,000. The uptick in deaths is unusual, with Rusev finding three to four dead dolphins along the 27 miles of shoreline in the park annually.
