Mount Everest Experiencing Loss of Snow and Turning Rocky, Say Climbers.

British climber Kenton Cool, who made his 17th ascent of Mount Everest, has said that the mountain is losing snow and becoming more dry and rocky. He attributes this to a lack of precipitation, possibly due to global warming or other environmental changes. Cool also noted an increase in rock falls on the Lhotse Face, which he believes is a result of the mountain's increasing dryness.
