Dutch intelligence warns of China's threat to economic security.

The Netherlands' intelligence service, AIVD, has identified China as the greatest threat to Dutch economic security due to its military ambitions and attempts to obtain Dutch and Western technologies through both legitimate and illegal means. The semiconductor equipment maker ASML is a prime target for China, which is its third-largest market. The AIVD also highlighted Russia as a major threat to national security, citing commercial espionage and covert investments, as well as spying on wind turbine farms and infrastructure in the Dutch North Sea.
