Belgian aid worker released in Iran prisoner swap.

Belgian aid worker Olivier Vandecasteele, who was released in a prisoner swap after being accused of spying and sentenced to 40 years in an Iranian jail, lost 30 kg (66 lb) but not his sense of humor during his ordeal. His spokesman and friend said Vandecasteele is doing well despite his physical transformation and was not told of his release by Iranian authorities. Belgium's justice minister said Vandecasteele's conviction was based on fabricated evidence and amounted to retribution for the prison term given to the Iranian diplomat who was swapped for him.
