Hussam Al-Attar, a displaced teenager living in a tent in Gaza, has ingeniously created a makeshift electricity system using fans and wires to light up his family's shelter. Dubbed "Gaza's Newton" by his neighbors, Al-Attar drew inspiration from Isaac Newton's discovery of gravity and overcame multiple failed attempts to develop the system, bringing light to his family and hope to his community amidst the ongoing conflict in the region.
