Hamas to Free Foreign Hostages Soon

Hamas has announced that it will release some foreign hostages held captive in Gaza in the coming days. The armed wing of Hamas, Qassam Brigades, made the announcement while also vowing to make Gaza a "graveyard" and a "quagmire" for Israeli forces. Over 230 people, including Israelis, foreigners, and civilians, were taken captive during an assault on Israel in October. Israel, human rights groups, and the United Nations have called for the immediate release of the hostages. Five hostages have been released so far, and Israeli families of the victims have called on the International Criminal Court to investigate the killings and abductions.
