"IDF Review: Shots Fired at Gaza Aid Convoy 'Suspects' but Denies Targeting Trucks"
TL;DR
Israel's military denies targeting the aid convoy in Gaza but claims to have fired at "suspects" who posed a threat to nearby forces, while Palestinian authorities reject this explanation. More than 100 civilians were killed and over 700 injured in the incident, known as the "Flour Massacre," with conflicting reports on the cause of the casualties. The United Nations has condemned the incident as a "massacre" and called for Israel to ease restrictions on food aid entering Gaza, while the Palestinian Foreign Ministry has dismissed Israel's investigation and called for an independent international investigation committee.
