Deadly Russian Strike and Missile Debris Hit Kyiv Amid Ongoing Ukraine War

Russia launched a missile strike on Kyiv, killing three people, including a child, and injuring 12 others. Ukraine's Air Force said it shot down all 10 missiles, but falling debris from the interceptions caused the deaths and injuries. Meanwhile, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that all NATO allies agree that Russia cannot prevent Ukraine's eventual membership of the alliance, and called for action beyond the end of the Russia-Ukraine war to guarantee Ukraine's security. The Biden administration also approved a new security assistance package worth $300 million for Ukraine, including artillery, anti-armor defenses, ammunition, and other equipment.
