Bolton urges deployment of nukes in South Korea.

Former US National Security Adviser John Bolton has called for the redeployment of tactical nuclear weapons in South Korea to send a clear message to North Korea and alleviate growing calls in the South for developing its own bombs. Bolton said re-stationing US tactical nuclear weapons would help reassure South Koreans, while sending a warning to Pyongyang. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol is in Washington for a summit with US President Joe Biden, during which they are expected to discuss ways to improve confidence in US extended deterrence.
