China's Role in Ukraine Peace Talks Questioned by Taiwan

China is willing to work with the international community, including the US, to play a constructive role in the political settlement of the Ukraine crisis, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin. He suggested that the US should also be asked if they are willing to make peace talks happen. Wenbin referenced the recent meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, claiming Xi "stressed" that "voices for peace" are growing.
