Consequences of Hostile Moves: Yemen Houthis and Hizbullah Send Warning Signals

Ali al-Qahoum, a member of the Houthi group's Ansarullah politburo, warned that any hostile action against Yemen will have severe consequences and great costs. He emphasized that the Houthis will not abandon the Palestinian cause and will continue operations against Israel. Al-Qahoum stated that Yemen is prepared to defend itself against any American, Israeli, or Western aggression and is committed to protecting international maritime navigation. This comes after the U.S. military reported that Houthi-controlled Yemen had attacked two ships in the Bab al-Mandab Strait. The Houthis have been targeting vessels in shipping lanes and launching attacks on Israel, vowing to continue until Israel ends its offensive in Gaza.
