Controversy as Russia assumes UN Security Council presidency.

A group of lawyers and diplomats called Civic Hub is preparing a legal challenge to block Russia from taking over the presidency of the UN Security Council in April and to kick Russia out of the UN entirely. The group argues that Russia's aggression against Ukraine poses a major challenge to the composition of the UN and that Russia never joined the UN in the proper way. While the group admits that the idea of Russia being booted out of the UN entirely is a long shot, they hope to at least stop Russia from securing the presidency in April and call Russia's membership on the UN Security Council into question.
