European Parliament Condemns Azerbaijan and EU Over Nagorno-Karabakh Attack, Calls for Review of Ties

The European Parliament has passed a resolution condemning Azerbaijan and the EU's handling of the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis, following Azerbaijan's military attack on the enclave. The resolution calls for a reassessment of the EU's ties with Azerbaijan, the suspension of oil and gas imports from Azerbaijan in the event of military aggression, and increased humanitarian aid for displaced people. Some lawmakers also called for sanctions against Azerbaijani officials. The resolution received overwhelming support, with 491 MEPs voting in favor.
