UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's appearance at the G7 summit in Japan sent an "incredibly powerful message" to Russia that western leaders are behind him. The UK indicated it would start training Ukrainian fighter pilots to fly F-16s within the next couple of months. The G7 leaders reaffirmed their support for Ukraine and its territorial integrity.
