Germany to Provide Ukraine with More Patriot Air Defense Systems - Zelenskiy

Germany has agreed to supply additional Patriot air defence missile systems to Ukraine, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. The decision comes after Germany announced its plan to ship two more Patriot launchers to Ukraine. Zelenskiy expressed gratitude for the support, stating that it is necessary for the defense of Ukraine against Russian aggression. The move is expected to bring Ukraine closer to establishing a comprehensive air shield and enhancing the protection of its people, cities, and villages. Ground-based air defence systems like the Patriot are in short supply across NATO since many allies reduced their air defence units after the Cold War.
