ICC prosecutor faces arrest warrant from Russia.

Russia has opened a criminal case against the prosecutor and several judges on the International Criminal Court in retaliation for the court issuing an arrest warrant against President Vladimir Putin. The court had issued the warrant in March for Putin and his presidential commissioner for children’s rights for their alleged involvement in the unlawful abduction and deportation of children from Ukraine to Russia. The move by Russia is seen as an act of retribution against the court.
