Iran seizes multiple oil tankers in latest maritime seizures.

A dozen Iranian fast-attack boats belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) swarmed and seized a Panama-flagged oil tanker, Niovi, crossing through the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday. This is the second time in less than a week that Iranian forces have intercepted an international ship. The US Navy shared a video of the incident, which shows the boats swarm the vessel. The US Navy has accused Iran of jeopardizing regional stability and has called its actions "unwarranted, irresponsible and a present threat to maritime security and the global economy."
