Iran's Top Diplomat Urges Pakistan to Expedite Completion of Long-Delayed Gas Pipeline

Iran's foreign minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, has urged Pakistan to complete its part of the long-delayed Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline, a project that has been on hold since 2014 due to opposition from the US. Amirabdollahian emphasized that the completion of the pipeline would serve the national interests of both countries. The two foreign ministers also discussed other bilateral issues, including border security and the release of detained fishermen. Additionally, Amirabdollahian called for the halting of weapons supplies to Ukraine by the West, advocating for a peaceful resolution through dialogue.
