Israel has provided the Biden administration with a dossier alleging that 12 UN employees, including teachers and a social worker, were involved in supporting or participating in Hamas terror attacks. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres confirmed that nine of the implicated individuals have been terminated, one is deceased, and the identity of the remaining two is being clarified. This has led to a suspension of funding from several Western countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, which collectively contribute over 60% of UNRWA's budget. The agency warns that without restored funding, it may have to halt operations in Gaza by the end of February.
