Israeli Security Chief Vows to Hunt Down Hamas Leaders Abroad

The head of Israel's domestic security agency, Shin Bet, stated in a recording aired by Israel's public broadcaster that Israel will hunt down Hamas in Lebanon, Turkey, and Qatar, even if it takes years. Referring to the 1972 Munich Olympics attack, Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar compared the mission to Israel's response to the killing of 11 Israeli team members, where they carried out targeted assassinations against Black September operatives and organizers over several years and in several countries. Israel has vowed to annihilate Hamas following their recent attack on the Gaza border, and Hamas leaders are known to reside or frequently visit Lebanon, Turkey, and Qatar.
