Japan Concerned Over China and Russia's Strengthening Military Cooperation

Japan's Foreign Minister expressed concern about the increasing military collaboration between China and Russia in the Indo-Pacific region, accusing Beijing of attempting to change the status quo in the East and South China seas by force and increasing its military activities around Taiwan. He also warned that North Korea was escalating provocations in the region by conducting ballistic missile launches. The minister called for a united response by the international community to Russia's war in Ukraine, which he said had shaken the very foundation of the international order.
