Jordan Doubts Israel's Ability to Eradicate Hamas in Gaza

Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stated that Arab troops will not be sent to Gaza to police the area after the Israel-Hamas war, emphasizing that they do not want to be seen as the enemy by Palestinians. Safadi argued that bombing Hamas out of existence is not a viable solution and instead called for convincing them of a future. He rejected the idea of comparing Hamas to ISIS and blamed the conflict on the absence of a political horizon and the ongoing Israeli occupation. Safadi stressed the need for a two-state solution and emphasized that security for Israel and the region can only be achieved through peace and the establishment of two states.
