The petition asked for Ukraine to host nuclear weapons on its territory and be armed with its own nuclear weapons. Kim Yo Jong suggested it could be a political plot by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office. The comments come as North Korea tries to establish closer ties with Russia, which has recently announced plans to station tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
