"NATO Ally Norway Boosts Ukraine with Billion-Dollar Defense Aid"

Denmark, a NATO member, has pledged a billion-dollar boost to Ukraine, including tanks, drones, ammunition, and other military equipment, following Ukrainian President Zelensky's unsuccessful attempt to secure additional U.S. aid. The aid package was announced during the Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit in Oslo, where Nordic leaders also pledged financial and humanitarian support. However, the aid from Nordic countries falls short of the proposed $60 billion in new aid for Ukraine, which is currently being blocked by Republicans in Congress. The U.S. has already committed around $47 billion in military aid to Ukraine but is rapidly reaching the limit of its ability to help due to gridlock in Congress.
