NATO Urged to Fully Support Ukraine to Avoid Future War with Russia

Former NATO commander Sir Richard Shirreff warned that NATO could face a direct conflict with Russia if it doesn't provide full support to Ukraine in defeating the Russian invasion. He compared the situation to that which took place before the start of World War II. The West needs to increase its support for Ukraine, including providing F-16 fighter jets, increasing defense spending, and boosting the amount of ammunition it supplies to Ukraine. So far, the US and its allies have pledged $150 million in aid to Ukraine since Russia launched its unprovoked invasion of the country in February 2022.
