Navigating Ukraine's Path to Global Diplomacy

Ukraine must approach the Global South as a wronged sovereign member of the international community, rather than a western outpost, in order to win their support. Despite the absence of Russia and the war being at a stage unsuitable for peace talks, Ukraine's outreach to the Global South has the potential to secure international perception of its sovereignty and territorial integrity. While it is unlikely to pressure Moscow to withdraw, it could help Ukraine emerge as a truly independent country.
