Putin ally warns of West's inadequate understanding of nuclear war threat from Russia.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev warned that the West has failed to fully realize the threat of a nuclear conflict with Moscow and suggested that the war in Ukraine could last for decades. Medvedev argued that NATO's support for Ukraine accounts for a proxy war that could boil over if it continues aiding Kyiv. He also claimed that aiding Ukraine in developing a nuclear weapon would prompt a Russian missile with a nuclear charge coming to them. Medvedev called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a "clown" and said that the conflict will last for a very long time, probably for decades.
