"Putin and Lukashenko Discuss Failed Ukraine Counter-Offensive"

Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko for talks in St. Petersburg, where they discussed Ukraine's counteroffensive. Putin stated that the counteroffensive has failed, while Lukashenko jokingly mentioned that Russian mercenaries from the Wagner group, who are now training Belarus's army, expressed interest in pushing west towards NATO member Poland. Poland has responded by deploying additional troops to its border with Belarus.
