Russia Raises Concerns Over F-16 Jets in Ukraine as Potential 'Nuclear' Threat

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Russia would consider the presence of Western F-16 fighter jets in Ukraine as a "nuclear" threat due to their potential to carry atomic weapons. Lavrov's comments come amid Kyiv's request for military aid from its Western allies to counter Russia's offensive. Although the United States has not approved the transfer of F-16s to Ukraine, the Netherlands and Denmark are leading a plan to train Ukrainian pilots on using these aircraft as part of an 11-nation coalition.
