The exercise comes after Russia revoked security guarantees for ships carrying Ukrainian grain and warned that any ships traveling to Ukraine's Black Sea ports could be carrying military cargoes. The Russian Defence Ministry confirmed the success of the exercise, stating that the target vessel was destroyed as a result of the rocket strike.
