Russian Troops Pull Out of Kherson, Confirm State Media

Russian state-run news agencies initially reported that Moscow's troops were withdrawing from a key position in the partially occupied southern Kherson region, but later retracted the news and apologized for the error. The Russian Ministry of Defense had earlier stated that the troops were being regrouped to more advantageous positions east of the Russian-occupied left bank of the Kherson Oblast, with the intention of using part of the forces for an offensive in other directions. This comes after Ukrainian forces launched a missile attack on the headquarters of a Russian military group, resulting in the reported deaths of three Russian officers.
