"Ukraine Considers Peace Summit with Russia, Swiss Host"

Ukraine and its foreign partners are considering inviting Russia to a future peace summit to discuss an end to Moscow's two-year-old invasion on Kyiv's terms. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's chief of staff mentioned the possibility of presenting a peace plan to Russia during a summit hosted by Switzerland, with the aim of genuinely ending the war and returning to a just peace. However, Kyiv has maintained that it will not engage in peace talks with Moscow until all Russian troops have left Ukrainian territory, while the Kremlin has dismissed Kyiv's peace plan as absurd and stated that there is no current basis for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
