Ukraine Vows Retaliation for Russian Attacks.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has vowed to "respond to every blow" after Russian drone attacks killed at least nine people and injured several others. The attacks targeted two dormitories and a college in the town of Rzhyshchiv and two residential buildings in the city of Zaporizhzhia. Zelenskyy described the attacks as acts of "bestial savagery" and said they showed Moscow was not interested in peace. The attacks coincided with Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Moscow, where he proposed a peace plan for Ukraine, which the West largely dismisses as a ploy to buy time for Putin to regroup his forces.
