Ukraine's Defense Capabilities Evaluated Amid Tensions with Russia and NATO.

Ukraine's defense minister, Oleksii Reznikov, announced that the country is almost ready to launch a counteroffensive against Russian forces with Western-supplied weapons acting as an "iron fist." NATO has delivered over 98% of the combat vehicles pledged to Ukraine, including over 1,550 armored vehicles, 230 tanks, and other military hardware. While some military analysts contend that the counteroffensive has already begun in small ways, recently leaked top-secret Pentagon documents suggest that the US is not especially optimistic that Ukraine can make major gains. Russia launched fresh missile attacks across Ukraine, including in the capital city, Kyiv, that killed at least 25 people.
