Ukraine's Killing of Russian Admiral Sends Shockwaves

Ukraine's claim of killing Russian Black Sea Fleet commander, Admiral Viktor Solokov, in a strike on a Russian headquarters in Sevastopol is unconfirmed but, if true, would be a significant achievement. Retired US Navy Admiral James Stavridis praised Ukraine for eliminating a high-ranking Russian military leader, stating that the last time an admiral was killed in combat was during World War II. The attack reportedly resulted in the deaths of 34 officers and injuries to 105 others. Russia has not yet commented on the incident.
