Ukrainian Officer Allegedly Orchestrated Nord Stream Attack: Washington Post

A Ukrainian military officer, Roman Chervinsky, allegedly coordinated the September 2022 attack on the Nord Stream gas pipeline, according to anonymous sources cited by the Washington Post. The attack, which ruptured three out of four lines of the pipeline, has been called an act of sabotage by Washington and NATO, while Moscow labeled it as international terrorism. Chervinsky, a former intelligence official, denies involvement. Investigations into the explosions have been launched by Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. Chervinsky is currently under arrest for exceeding authority in a separate incident, and he claims the case against him is politically motivated.
