"US and Allies Conduct Strikes Against Houthi Militants in Yemen and Iran-Backed Forces"
TL;DR
US forces launched a "self-defense" strike targeting two Houthi explosive uncrewed surface vehicles in Yemen, citing an imminent threat to US Navy ships and merchant vessels in the region. This comes after previous strikes against Iran-backed Houthis and other groups in Iraq and Syria, as US and coalition forces take a more aggressive posture against the Houthis' attacks on commercial ships in the region. No details were provided on the outcome of the strike or any potential casualties.
