Wanted Russian Official Addresses UN Despite UK Objection.

Maria Lvova-Belova, Russia's commissioner for children's rights who is being sought for war crimes by the International Criminal Court (ICC), will speak at a United Nations meeting about Ukrainian children taken to Russia. The ICC issued arrest warrants last month for her and President Vladimir Putin over their suspected involvement in the unlawful deportation and transfer of children from occupied areas of Ukraine to Russia. The UK and US missions will not send their ambassadors to the meeting, and the UK has blocked outside broadcast of the event.
