Zelenskyy's Alleged Strategy: Using Iran to Garner Western Support

Iran has accused Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of making false claims that the Islamic republic is arming Russia, saying it was an attempt to gain military and financial support from Western countries. Zelenskyy had appealed to Iranians, asking why they wanted to be accomplices in Russian terror. Iran's foreign ministry spokesman said Ukraine had specific political goals and motives behind such accusations and was avoiding expert negotiations with the Iranian side to investigate the claims. Russia has reportedly used 1,160 Iranian-made drones in attacks against Ukraine.
