At least three people, including a 9-year-old child and her mother, were killed in a pre-dawn missile attack on Kyiv by Russian forces. Ukrainian air defenses shot down all 10 missiles, but falling debris caused damage and wounded 16 people. Russia has been targeting Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine in recent weeks as Kyiv prepares for a counteroffensive. The attack coincided with International Children's Day events, which were canceled. Most incoming weapons are shot down, but many Kyiv residents are anxious and tired after weeks of sleepless nights listening to the sound of explosions.
