Russian Forces Surrendering Quickly to Ukraine, Offering Armored Vehicles and Equipment

Ukraine's Main Directorate of Intelligence reports that Russian troops are surrendering at an increasing pace in the ongoing war in Ukraine, with some being captured directly on the battlefield. The "I Want to Live" project, which encourages Russian military members to surrender, has seen a doubling of registered appeals from last month to 3,000. The Ukrainian defense ministry warns that the window of opportunity for surrendering is "narrowing" as the expected spring counteroffensive by the Ukrainian army approaches.
