"3rd Infantry Division Takes Charge of NATO Mission in Poland"

The 3rd Infantry Division has assumed control of the Army task force in Poland and the Baltic states, replacing the 4th Infantry Division. The deployment is part of efforts to deter further military action by Russia since its invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The task force, now named Task Force Marne, will work alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces in Europe.
