China's Warning to Russia: No Nuclear Attacks in Ukraine

The Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov, explained that Russia's reluctance to attack Ukraine from the Mediterranean Sea is due to the potential international backlash caused by the need for ships to enter inland waters and the flight of missiles through NATO member states' airspace. Hromov believes that given the current consolidation of the NATO bloc, such actions by Russia are unlikely and would have severe consequences, including the potential sinking of the missile carriers.
